Host a House Party to show the GMO Trilogy

Showing the GMO Trilogy at a house party is a fun and effective way to inform others about the hazards of genetically modified organisms. Your party can be as simple as inviting friends to your house, showing a movie and talking about it, or it can be used as a critical tool to launch or expand a local campaign. Our manual, which you can download below, provides suggestions you can use for either approach, and introduces our GM-Free School Campaign for you to consider.

If you can’t host a screening at your home, you may be able to find a friend who wants to host the event, or possibly a health food store, library, church or restaurant. In any case, you may want to enlist help from friends and make this a group effort and a fun activity.

House screening parties have emerged as a powerful tool to get important information out to the public and to inspire local groups to organize around issues. This is particularly important for GM foods and crops, given:

  • The virtual black out on GMO issues by the mainstream media in the US; and
  • The power of consumer choice in determining the future of GMOs in our food.

It’s great that something fun can also change the world.
